In a natural pit (cenote), I sprayed water from my mouth to create an ephemeral rainbow.

This piece was inspired by a tale about a mayan shamanic healing method. In this technique the shaman sprays water using the lips over the lying sick person, the proper pressure on the lips and the light conditions allow a Raimbow to appear. The Raimbow becomes the healing in itself and its appearance proof of its power.

Spitting Raimbow was performed in a “Cenote" of the mayan area, (Cenotes had and still have a ceremonial connotation within the mayan culture of this zone).
